Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Ablepro, Inc. d/b/a CleanClean Software (“CleanClean,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit https://cleancleansoftware.com, request a demo, contact us, create or use a CleanClean account, use a client or staff portal, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy distinguishes information CleanClean handles for its own business purposes from information we process on behalf of cleaning-business customers. When a customer submits personal information about its clients, prospects, employees, contractors, or other individuals to a customer workspace, the customer generally decides why and how that information is processed. In that context, the customer is generally the controller or business and CleanClean is generally its processor or service provider. Requests about that Customer Data should normally be directed to the relevant customer.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to CleanClean-operated websites, applications, portals, and related support and sales interactions. It does not apply to third-party websites, payment processors, integrations, or services that maintain their own privacy policies, nor does it replace a CleanClean customer’s own notices to its clients or workforce.
2. Personal information we collect
Information you provide directly. We may collect name, email address, telephone number, company name, job title, account credentials, contact-form and demo-request content, support communications, survey responses, subscription and billing details, and other information you choose to provide.
Account and customer-workspace information. Depending on how a customer configures the Services, we may process client and prospect profiles, service locations, property access or service preferences, staff and contractor profiles, roles and permissions, job schedules, crew assignments, time entries, GPS location associated with clock-in or clock-out, payroll-period records and exports, estimates, invoices, payment status, communications, notes, photographs, checklists, documents, signatures, supply and asset records, vendor information, and reports.
Transaction information. We may receive limited billing and transaction information from payment processors, such as payment status, amount, date, method type, last four digits, processor customer or transaction identifiers, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks. Payment processors generally collect and process complete payment-card details under their own policies; CleanClean should not receive payment-card security codes or full magnetic-stripe data.
Information collected automatically. We may collect IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages or screens viewed, referring URLs, approximate location inferred from IP, dates and times of access, session and usage events, diagnostic logs, error reports, security events, and cookie or similar-technology identifiers.
Information from third parties. We may receive information from a CleanClean customer that invites you to a workspace or portal, payment and integration providers, authentication providers, service providers, referral partners, and public or commercially available sources, subject to applicable law.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to provide, configure, operate, maintain, and support the Services; authenticate users and manage roles; process subscriptions and transactions; enable scheduling, communications, documents, payments, timekeeping, GPS clock events, payroll exports, e-signatures, and portals; respond to inquiries and demo requests; personalize and improve features; monitor performance; debug errors; secure accounts and prevent fraud or misuse; enforce agreements; comply with law; establish or defend legal claims; and communicate about service, security, billing, product, and —where permitted—marketing matters.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, our bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services and running our business, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital or legal interests, and consent. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
4. Customer instructions and workforce/location data
Customers control whether and how they use features involving staff, contractors, clients, GPS clock events, photographs, documents, signatures, communications, or payroll records. Customers are responsible for providing legally required notices, obtaining consents, limiting access, setting retention, and complying with employment, labor, surveillance, biometric, geolocation, wage-and-hour, e-signature, and communications laws.
GPS information associated with time clock use can be sensitive. CleanClean processes such information to provide the customer-configured timekeeping feature, protect security, troubleshoot, and comply with documented customer instructions and law. Customers should not use GPS features for continuous monitoring unless the product expressly supports it and applicable law permits it.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for sign-in, security, preferences, session continuity, and core functionality. We may also use analytics or performance technologies to understand website and product use and improve the Services. Where required, we will request consent before using non-essential technologies and provide a method to manage choices.
Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, but doing so can impair sign-in or functionality. A browser’s Global Privacy Control signal may be treated as an opt-out request where applicable law requires it and where the signal is relevant to processing on the browser or device.
6. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information to the CleanClean customer that controls the relevant workspace; authorized users designated by that customer; cloud hosting, security, authentication, analytics, communications, support, document, mapping, e-signature, billing, and payment providers; professional advisers; auditors; insurers; and other vendors that process information for us under contractual restrictions.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; to protect rights, safety, security, and property; to investigate fraud or misuse; with your direction or consent; and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not disclose Customer Data to other CleanClean customers except at the direction of the customer that controls the data or as legally required. We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify an individual, and we will not attempt to re-identify it except to test our de-identification processes where permitted by law.
7. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
CleanClean does not sell personal information for money. CleanClean does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any legally required notice and opt-out mechanism.
A customer’s use of CleanClean to communicate with its own clients, staff, or contacts is controlled by that customer and is not CleanClean’s sale of personal information.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including while an account is active; to provide requested Services; to maintain security, backups, audit trails, and business records; to comply with tax, accounting, employment, payment, and other legal duties; and to establish or defend claims. Retention varies by data type, customer instructions, contract terms, sensitivity, legal requirements, and technical constraints.
After account closure, Customer Data may remain for a limited period to support export, restore, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or backup rotation before deletion or de-identification. Customers should export information they are legally required to keep before closing an account.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Safeguards may include access controls, tenant separation, logging, encryption in transit, vendor oversight, backups, and incident-response procedures, as appropriate to the information and Services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users should use unique passwords, protect devices, enable available security controls, promptly remove former personnel, assign least-privilege roles, and notify us at contact@ablepro.net of suspected unauthorized access.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
You may update certain account details through the Services, unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message, and control certain cookies through available settings. Transactional or security messages may still be sent when necessary to provide the Services.
Depending on your location and subject to exceptions, you may have rights to know or access personal information; correct inaccurate information; delete information; receive a portable copy; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and appeal a denied request. You may also lodge a complaint with a privacy or data protection authority.
To exercise rights concerning information CleanClean controls, submit a request through cleancleansoftware.com/contact and write “Privacy Request” in the message. We may need to verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and verification of the consumer. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
If your information is in a workspace controlled by a cleaning business, submit your request to that business first. We will assist the customer as required by contract and law.
11. International data transfers
CleanClean and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for restricted transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful mechanism.
12. Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through CleanClean-operated account registration or marketing pages. Customers must not use the Services to collect children’s information unless they have a lawful basis, provide required notices, obtain required consent, and configure access appropriately. If you believe a child provided information to us improperly, contact us.
13. Third-party services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services, including payment, mapping, email, or other providers. Their processing is governed by their own privacy notices when they act independently. Review those notices before enabling an integration or submitting information.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Services, law, or our practices. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. If required, we will provide additional notice or request consent for material changes.
